We still don’t get it

On NPR they were discussing California’s budget problems, specifically they would begin delaying payments. They were getting citizen reactions, here were two

1) Guy owned a telecommunications company with the State of California generating 50% of the revenue, “I don’t know, my only choice is to lay people off or get new clients or go out of business”

Forget that those are three choices. The second only choice is just good business; don’t let one client account for that amount of revenue.

2) Rachel a Sonoma State freshmen who is double majoring in politcal science and english and is afraid her student aid payment will be late; “I don’t know what I’ll do. I guess I’ll have to get a second job, and that’s the last thing they should want a freshmen who’s double majoring to do!”

You chose to double major, and are not entitled to that aid you should be thankful for it.

Everyone is entitled. I’m growing tired of the “where’s my bailout” question.
